Martha Shulski is the Director of the Nebraska State Climate Office and State Climatologist for Nebraska. She is also an associate professor of applied climate science in the School of Natural Resources at UNL.

Her research interests are in the areas of climate variability and change and climate impacts, and how these changes impact our society and environment. Many of the projects she has been involved with are interdisciplinary – bringing together researchers from various specialties to study an issue – and climate is a critical component to most all environmental issues.
