B.S. Biology, University of Idaho; Ph.D. Plant Ecology, Duke University. Rick is the program manager for Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Natural Heritage Program. The Program collects, manages and disseminates scientific information on threatened, endangered and rare species and natural communities, to inform conservation and land use decisions in Nebraska. He serves as the co-chair of the Nebraska Natural Legacy Project to develop and implement Nebraska’s State Wildlife Action Plan, a comprehensive wildlife conservation strategy. Currently, he is also the chair of the Midwest Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies’ Climate Change Technical Committee.
